Is it just me or does Road Runner throttle your download speed if you’re uploading something to the Internet? 

Normally if I run a speed test I’ll get about 30Mbps down and 1Mbps up but when I’m uploading a video to YouTube or images to Flickr my upload speed stays at about 1Mbps but my download speed goes way down which slows down pretty much everything. 

I do like having unlimited data but I sure do with I could have a constant fixed amount of bandwidth. Something like 10Mbps down, 10Mbps up would be perfect. In my area getting that is nearly impossible though if you don’t want to spend a fortune on business class Internet. 

Verizon, Time Warner, or any other ISP, please bring faster Internet (FIOS for example) to my area. It would be greatly appreciated. Having an LTE smartphone with faster network speeds than my home network is pretty sad.
